Wireless The CanProx One Dual Technology RF Transmitter is ideal for long-range access control applications such as opening parking gates and raising and lowering vehicle barriers. The transmitter may also be used as a proximity credential for Cansec’s CanProx One Proximity Reader. It takes advantage of a secure digital anti-playback routine based on a custom rolling code variant of the Tiny Encryption Algorithm, providing perhaps the most secure method of controlling access from a long distance. This fast and efficient cipher results in both best-in-class read range and security, virtually eliminating the risk of code sniffing and unauthorized duplication.

Read range between the CanProx One transmitter and receiver is field adjustable, with a maximum of up to 100 feet. With a nominal physical size of 58.4 mm x 33 mm x 12.7 mm (2.3 in x 1.3 in x 0.5 in) and a red LED indicator, the easy-to-carry transmitter is delivered equipped for easy attachment to a key ring. Transmitters are sequentially coded in either a standard 26-bit or Cansec 37-bit Wiegand format, all with exact number sequences. This makes it easy to add this RF product to any standard access control system. As a cross-reference, the transmitter’s internal ID number is marked on its back.

The CanProx One Dual Technology RF Transmitter operates from 8 to 24 VDC, with a nominal current draw of 80 mA. Housed in a weather-resistant enclosure, the physical size of the receiver is 160 mm x 89 mm x 61mm (6.3 in x 3.5 in x 2.4 in). It includes a drill template providing mounting provisions to a North American or European wall box, as well as pre-drilled holes in the four corners allowing installation to a flat surface. The receiver includes beeper and multi-colour LED indicators standard. Converting the receiver to two channels allows the transmitter data to travel over a pair of Wiegand outputs. Formatting of outputted Wiegand data is dependent upon the specific programmed format of the individual CanProx One transmitter.
